The host Muskego boys basketball team outscored Madison West by 14 points in overtime to earn a 79-65 victory Friday night. With the win the Warriors (19-4) will play Beloit Memorial Saturday in a regional finals game at Sun Prairie
Muskego held a three point lead with 10 seconds left in regulation until the Regents (7-16) Keishawn Shanklin drilled a shot from beyond the arc at the buzzer to force overtime.
Shanklin, Simeon Parker, and Terrell Carey all fouled out for West in overtime. Muskego took advantage by making 10 of 12 free throws in the extra session.
Sophomore Stu Vent led the Warriors with 24 points while A.J. Makinen had 22. Parker finished with 27 points and Carey tallied 14 for Madison West.
