The Marshall girls basketball team wrapped up a perfect run through the Capitol Conference season with a 59-44 home victory over second-place Cambridge on Wednesday night.
The Cardinals, ranked fourth in Division 3 by The Associated Press, improved to 21-0 overall and finished 10-0 in Capitol South play.
Cambridge, which received honorable mention in the Division 4 rankings, is now 17-4 and 7-3, including two losses to Marshall.
Laura Nickel scored 13 points and Mia Morel 11 to lead the way for Marshall, which opened a 33-20 halftime lead.
Cambridge got 13 points from Joriann Clary and 12 from Ashlynn Jarlsberg.
