The visiting Warriors started the second half with a 14-0 scoring run, making three 3-point baskets during the rally, to break open what had been a 22-20 halftime lead over the Thunderbirds.
McKena Yelk led Portage with 18 points, MacKenzie Roth had 13 and Morgan Bisch had 11. Baraboo got 10 points apiece from Haley Hannagan and Alexis Johnson.
