Milwaukee Pius (10-2) emerged victorious against Poynette (6-3) during the Waukesha South Holiday Tournament's championship game.
The Popes maintained control throughout the ballgame and benefited from a 20-point lead at halftime. The Pumas were then outscored by eight in the second half. Junior Jada Spence led the Pius roster with 14 points. Four players scored six points apiece for Poynette: Sophomores Megan Reddeman and Jalynn Morter and seniors Hanna Walters and Johanna Hutchinson.
