Tessa Pickett laid down a squeeze bunt and Makayla Ramberg scored the winning run in the eighth for the host Vikings as they beat the Spartans. Kailey Hammersley went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs for the winners. Lela Brashi also had two doubles and went 2-for-4, Madison Brickson added a double on 2-for-4 hitting, and Savanna Jemilo went 3-for-4 with a double. Brooklyn Rudd went 4-for-4 with an RBI and Megan Jansen struck out 11 in 7 and 2/3 innings for McFarland.
