Nick Logan had a double and four RBI as the Goslings (4-4 Badger South) scored eight runs in the second inning to carry their first home matchup over the Blackhawks (5-5). Teammate Peyton Foltz added three hits in four at-bats, while Jacob Fischer pitched six innings for the win. Branden Zastrow was tagged for five runs and the loss on the mound, but picked up a pair of hits in three at-bats.

Cade Oiler drew a run-scoring walk with the game tied in the fifth inning, part of a five-run inning that carried the Goslings to victory over the Blackhawks in the second game of the doubleheader. Cameron Streitch allowed one earned run over five innings for the win. Ethan Heagney took the loss for the Blackhawks.
