Marshall 75, New Glarus 59
The Marshall prep boys basketball team took sole possession of first place in the Capitol South after the 75-59 victory against host New Glarus.
Senior Brandon Neuberger led the Cardinals (11-3, 4-0) with 25 points making five of the eight Marshall 3-pointers. The Glarner Knights (8-6, 3-1) only made two 3-pointers.
New Glarus senior guard Gavin Binger scored 16 points and both Jaden Kreklow and Trey Taylor each added 13. With the loss, the Glarner Knights fall into a second place tie with Cambridge.
Cardinals senior Tristan Killerlain, a 6-foot-2 senior, added 15 points and made 8 of 10 free throws.
